Toyon welcomes work in English, Spanish, and in translation from any other language. All writers and artists are welcome.
Our editorial team is made up of undergraduate students. We read submissions in October, November, and December only. We are open to submissions year-round, but please expect a response time of 3-16 months.
The annual submission deadline is September 30. Letters are sent in December or January. We ask that writers and artists submit in only one genre each annual cycle.

Toyon uses an online submission management system that facilitates blind review. Omit all identifying information from your manuscript. You'll input your name and contact information into the online form.
Please include a short publication-ready bio with your submission; there is a space in the online form where you can add your bio. A cover letter is not required. |
